1,10-Phenanthroline deritives

UCHEM has been focusing on research, develpment and manufacture of symmetric/unsymmetric substituted 1,10-phenanthroline, which are very useful chemical used for colorimetric detection,catalyst, or electronluminiescene, etc.
The symmetric disubstituted 1,10-phenanthroline are as the following. The 2,9-dichloro/bromo-1,10-phenanthroline, 3,8-dibromo-1,10-phenanthroline, 5,6-diamino-1,10-phenanthroline and its precausor 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione are derived from 1,10-phenanthroline. The others are made from o-nitroaniline through two successive Skraup reactions.

The unsymmetric substituted 1,10-phenanthroline are as the following. The none-carbon substituted 1,10-phenanthroline, e.g. 2/3/5-Bromo-1,10-phenanthroline; 5-nitro/amino/chloro-1,10-phenanthroline are derived from 1,10-phenanthroline. The skeleton of 4-bromo/chloro/hydroxyl-1,10-phenanthroline and the others with carbon group are synthesized from the construction of the phenanthroline skeleton by two successive Skraup reactions.
